How Long Does Water Pump Run on 12 Volt

Hooked up to my house my 12 volt pump was pretty loud and pressurized in just a few seconds maybe 15. I unhooked it from the house and pulled it uptown and tried the faucet and pump. I let it run for a minute and it still hadn't pressurized and the flow in the sink was just a trickle. Are they weak and slow on 12 volt or do I maybe have a battery issue? I have had my camper plugged up to the house for 3 weeks so it should be charged. Thanks

I'm assuming you had water in your holding tank and the winterization valves were set properly?

Since the pump is 12V it should be just about as strong on AC as it is off. You may want to check voltage on the battery and / or have the battery load tested.

Did you have water in your tank or were you hooked up to city water? I know just asking.

When you say "hooked up to my house" are you referring to having electric hooked up or having water hooked up?

Another thought....if the water tank was full, how about the hot water tank? The hot water tank does take a few minutes to fill and you will just get a trickle at the faucet as the air is purged.

When you do dumb stuff like that, you make all of the rest of us feel human. It also makes us realize that we are not alone in doing stupid stuff with our TT's.

PS: Hooking the fresh water hose to the black tank flush WILL NOT FILL THE FRESH WATER TANK.
