how to attach levels to TT

So I want to add the exterior levels to the body of my TT. Maybe I am overthinking this, but how do you know that you are putting the level on level? Do you level the TT with a 4 footer or something and then attached the level based on that? What if the TT is unlevel to begin with, will the levels be unlevel?

Have I confused you as much as I am now?

Use a carpenters level. Lay it on the floor and level the trailer side-to-side. Then use the tongue jack to level front-to-back. Your precision here will determine the accuracy of your end result. Now, place your levels in your selected places and center the bubbles. If you are attaching the levels with screws seal around the levels and screws with silicon seal or equivalent sealant.

It's not hard to do. Just take your time and be meticulous.

Use a 4ft for best results or a 2 ft will do. Place it on the floor of the TT in both directions and get the unit level then stick on the levels where you want. Some use the bulls eyes around the A frame for ease. I had the curved Camco ones on my last TT, front center and by the side door.

I bought a 2-way bubble level. I mounted it right in front of the tongue jack. It is small but it works very well.

When I did my fiver I did as others suggested with the carpenter's level. In addition I put a fridge bubble level in the lower level of the freezer. I also checked the doors to make sure nothing was out of sorts there as well. Not hard to do but does take a little time.
