Hurricane Mathew at our seasonal site

We keep our Jayco at a campground inKill Devil Hills, NC on a seasonal site. We had decided to not go get it when they said that hurricane Mathew was going to turn off shore before making it to the Outer Banks of NC. As you can see in the attached pictures the storm uprooted a large oak tree that was beside the camper. It lifted our deck about 8' off the ground, and pushed our camper over about 18" shifting it off the blocks that our tongue jack, and stabilizers were sitting on. We had to go and move it from our site so that they can remove the tree, the only notable damage was the corner of the gutter was bent down slightly, and the rail on our deck dented the siding when it was turned on it's side. We were very lucky could have been very much worse.

Glad you came out of it with minimul damage. We rode it out in a beach house wedding venue on Ocean Isle Beach NC. Had to move the wedding to Oct 7 instead of the 8th but all went well. No damage to the area we could see. Eye went right over the top of us making it a wedding that will be talked about for years.
