ignition turns off the TV

I have a 2012 Jayhawk 31 SS....problem is that when I turn on the ignition, the power to the TV turns off at the wall plate where the TV plugs in...anyone solve this problem before ????

I would guess it has to do with q law about not distracting a driver? Not sure where the TV is in relation to the driver, but it is probably the same reason car stereo with DVD players won't play unless the car is in park.

It's an easy fix. There have been several threads where this fix has been discussed. "Grumpy" is the resident expert on this. I can't believe he has chimed in yet. He must be slipping!
