I'll bet the weather changes!

We had a great mild winter here in S.E. Nebraska. Very little snow and lots of warm days, the last couple weeks 70's & 80's. I pulled the Jayco in the driveway, packed the bearings, cleaned the roof & dewinterized her today after talking to friends that have already started camping. I would bet March will go out like a lion now!

Take a look at what happened in Flagstaff Arizona today. 12" of snow, more on the way, schools already closed tomorrow, 200 miles of Interstate closed.

Snowbowl Az had 31" and Flagstaff ended up with more than a foot. A friend of ours left the park yesterday and is now stuck in Northern Arizona for a while.

I'm glad it will be 80 for the 22nd at The Rally in Phoenix. Don't want to walk around with 55'F like it was today with rain and occasional hail. Rain is also to stop later tonight.

I was just putting together my camping journal and had to look up the first place that we camped in our X18D. Eugene T Mahoney SP in NE. I'd go back anytime!

Yes, the weather in Phoenix today was MARVELOUS! We had to tie down our trampoline last night, hailed twice today and thundering rain! Oh how I miss WEATHER!

Glad I'm camping next weekend and not this one. Sorry to miss the rally. Completely spaced on that.

Have fun in NE! Ever get to ETM SP? We loved it for our one night.

Kim

Guess that's why they call it Snowbowl?

I called a buddy who is a Burlington Northern engineer in Flagstaff just to ask if he had a snow tire for his Harley! He always calls when it snows here just to tell me he rode his bike to work so I couldn't resist! We make it to Mahoney once a year, also Louisville not to far from there.

Here in Central PA the temperature has been in the 60's and 70's for the last couple weeks. Wife and I went up to the RV on Saturday and opened her up. Unloaded the deck furniture from the shed, put both slides out and hooked up the water. Now I don't have to drag my Port-A-Potty back and forth. Next weekend will be roof cleaning, awning cleaning and just general around the RV cleaning. Sure is nice not to drag the 31BHDS around, I always know where she is.

Hey 82Corvette, I live just to the north of you (Norfolk). I dusted off the fiver last week and took a two day mini-vacation to Neligh's Riverside Park. The weather was great until Saturday morning when things turned wet and cold. We packed up and went home early. Shame, the weather got so nice that afternoon. But, it sure has been nasty today. I'm hoping for continued warm weather for the rest of the season.

By the way, how did you like your Louisville stay? Which park did you go to as I believe they have two right next to each other?
