In Shortage?

What exactly does that mean? One of the members who's RV was pushed back from Sept to Oct13 ship date has been told his unit is in shortage. My ship date was Oct 14 and I still do not have a vin. Both same Rv Pinnacle FBTS. Is in shortage a way of saying delayed, line change, recall update, production problem or an actual shortage like awaiting tables etc

Waiting on something needed to finish it. Furniture, interior trim etc. They will complete the unit and put it aside until the remaining parts arrive.

I think with the boom in sales manufacturers are seeing it happen more. I know ours was delayed, but I was not in a hurry since my truck hadn't arrived yet either.

My first outing is turkey week so I can wait. The other person already packed and headed out to pick his up and I am sure will not be happy. His dealer promised it would be ready

We ordered our new Eagle HT 29.5 BHDS on Aug 13th. Est. offline was 10/7 but still havent heard anything. Seasons over so not too worried about it, but Id like to use it 1 time to make sure there is no warranty work needed before next camping season.
