infra-red heater

I have a 2005 Jayco Jay Feather, I use for deer hunting and winter time use. My question is, if I have trouble with the furnace can I use an infra-red heater?
I use a generator with the inverter for power. Any info would be helpful, Thanks, Jim
P.S. I'm just wondering if it would cause damage to the heater?

I use a ceramic heater instead of my furnace whenever I have power hook up.. You can use a infrared heater if you want, but just make sure it's amps it needs isn't too high...

+1 on a small ceramic heater

We have one in our trailer, and we barely have to use the on-board furnace. In fact, we could probably forego the furnace completely if we really wanted to.

I'm curious; what type of infrared heater, and why? A quick search shows them to be pretty expensive. I think we got our little ceramic one for like $10 at Target?
