I have to agree with Larry G. on this one. I was a supplier to numerous OEM's during my career, not in the RV industry, and every part or component I provided was built to the exact specifications of the manufacturer it was being sold to. Yes, in the design process we would offer suggestions to the original OEM design to make the part easier to manufacture or sometimes make it such that it could be manufactured. If any suggestion was deemed by the manufacturer to compromise their design, our suggestions were rejected and we had to build it per specs. If we couldn't meet their specs we didn't get the business.
As long as Jayco sticks to their design specifications, I don't see Lippert or any other supplier being a problem or they won't be in business long. Remember, Jayco controls what they buy and use. If they compromise, they won't be in business long either.

I have to agree with LarryG. It is the specs that count.

I really dont like the Lippert hydraulic system for slides.

Congrats, Larry. Looks like you made your decision! Enjoy your new Pinnacle, when ya get it!

Have been an RV owner of one type or another foralmost 60 years- Have had good luck and bad with all different brands- Our previous fiver has frame flex and fatigue problems due in part to insufficient frame strength and design as well as poor QUALITY CONTROL- Lippert supposedly builds to the assemblers specs- The assembler needs to be sure their specs are adequate and follow up with good quality control over the frame as well as their own assembly- As long as low bidders get the work, we will continue to have problems- JMHO- Don
