Hi there. I can't see anywhere that they've increased the tank size on the 2017 Baja model. Do you have a link I can click on? Everywhere I've read states the smaller tanks. Thanks for your help. I really want the larger tanks.

From the link RogerR included click on "View Specifications" just above the floor plan diagram. You'll see both black and grey tanks listed at 19.9 gallons under Tank Capacities. While the fresh water tank capacity on the Baja is higher, the black and grey tanks are the same capacities for both standard and Baja models. So you don't need the Baja edition to get the 19.9 gallon black/grey tanks.

You can see more of the additional options that the Baja edition comes with by clicking "Configure & Price" and then hovering your mouse over the "?" at the end of the "Baja Edition (Idaho Built Units only)" item to the right. One thing that they still don't seem to show anywhere for 2017 and below is the increased GVWR for the Baja edition which is 3750 and not 3500. It looks like starting with the 2018 models the standard model is also listed as 3750 GVWR.

We own a 2015 154BH with a window unit. The window unit was recommended to us for the very same reasons stated above, easier and cheaper to replace if necessary. We live in the Panhandle area of Florida and in the summer months we struggle with condensation leaking into the unit. After two summers of leaks and no solution in sight my husband found that if he loosened the screws to the outside shroud cover and jammed something under to hold it open water poured outside as it was intended. With this knowledge our local CW dealer spoke to Jayco and they recommended the dealer jack up the window unit with washers so it sits off the condensation tray . Jayco claimed there isn't enough clearance between the unit and the tray to allow condensation to flow outside. We won't know if this worked until next summer, but we have our handy 'MacGyver' fix ready and waiting...just in case.

I have had an idea of drilling a hole(s) in the outside trim panel lower than the factory ones to allow better drainage. I don't want to drill to low and go into the frame, etc.
As I have never taken the trim off, I wondered if this is a good idea, especially for anyone with drainage inside problems. It appears to be the simplest solution as long as it does not weaken the plastic to much.

Has anyone had it off and looked at it from the outside? Any chance of a picture?

thanks!
