Jayco Plus extended warranty versus Good Sam

I can find nothing (on internet) about Jayco Plus extended warranty and what it covers/price. While Good Sam extended warranty information is available. For instance: with Good Sam an extended warranty is $300 annual with a $200 deductable; for a 2010 Jayco Sport 165

Can anyone provide some leads for me?
Richard

I paid $1652 for the JayPlus Platinum policy through XtraRide that is for 7 years and is transferable to the new owner if I sell it without going through a dealer or go through a dealer that handles the policy. It is $100 deductible. If you don't use the policy they kick back some money at the end. Service can be preformed by any dealer not just a Jayco dealer. Prior approval required. The dealers will bargain on price when they sell the policy. Seems like it may be cheaper than the GS policy. Of course the policy price will vary depending on type of RV. I have the Jayco Jayflight 19RD. I called the JayPlus people to make sure info is all correct.

Has anyone checked dealers in different states on how much they sell their extended policies for. I know for my Toyota, a factory policy is listed at 1400 and some change. Some dealers are selling them for 600 for the 6 year 120K warranty on the vehicle, or about half off. I wonder if any Jayco dealer is doing the same thing, cutting the warranty price to pull in more business.

If I'm not mistaken (and I often am) the Jayco extended warranty is only available through a Jayco dealer.

I am intrested in this thread, we are looking at the different options and leaning as follows: waiting out the factory warranty and then buying Good Sam extended. From the prices this makes the most sense to us. But, it all depends on how good is the actual coverage. So I also wait for actual experiences.
