Just bought a new Jayco

Hello...I ran into this site today and decided to join in, especially since I just bought a new Jayco today! I just left a deposit, will sign all the paperwork in the next day or so and hope to have it in a week.
We got a brand new model 5th wheel. Jayco Eagle HT 30.5 MBOK. Its a rear living model with a mid bedroom for the grandkids. It was the only one available in CA. We weren't able to find anything else quite like it on the market. Most of the others that were similar were at least 3 feet longer. You can check out the floor plan and 360 view of it on this site. It's a very unique layout and looks perfect for what we need.

1carguy, congrats and enjoy your new 5'er. This site hosts lots of great information for owners; from operations to repair and even mods. Feel free to ask questions when you have them and welcome to the JOF!

Congrats!!! I just watched a video of it and that floorplan looks fantastic. If I was in the market for a 5er, that would definitely be at the top of list. Post some pics when you get it.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new Jayco! I have been looking at that floorplan for a few weeks now and really like it. Let us know when you pick it up. Post pics if you feel like it as we would enjoy seeing them. Happy camping!

Thanks and we are anxious to get it home. We are already planning a few trips and can't wait to see our grand kids faces when they see this trailer. Today our 7 year old grand daughter broke her leg skiing so I hope this brings a smile to her face. She's still in the hospital and we are praying she won't need surgery.

Welcome to JOF and rv'ing. Sure hope the situation with the grand has a happy ending for all.

Please join in here with all the things that you encounter along the way.

I'm curious, when you said, "I ran into this site today.". Who or what introduced you to JOF? Just curious.

I found this site when I googled a search for more info about our new trailer and it picked up a post in this forum about the Jayco 30.5MBOK. People were asking if anyone knew anything about this new model and it triggered several responses on that thread. So once I was here, I thought I'd join in since I was now a Jayco owner. That's how I found it....

We brought the new 5th wheel home Friday night and we've been tinkering around with it all weekend. This rig is awesome! It's absolutely perfect for our family. My grand kids were here all weekend, in fact we camped in front of the house last night. The remote that controls nearly everything is great except my grandson won't let me use it...he insists on being the one to push the buttons. My duramax pulled it with ease and it tracks and drives down the road much better than the trailer did.
It's been a huge expense upgrading like this but so far I have no regrets. We are very anxious to hit the road this spring.

Sure glad it is working out for you. Kids love remotes but IMO, I would be controlling it myself.

Unless he is 30 years old! LOL

Congrates on your new trailer. Your lucky to have found the only one around, we had to order the one we wanted. Delivery isn't expected until late April early may.
