Just Getting Started

Hey everyone,

So sorry for all of these silly posts that I keep creating, but I am very new to all of this and I am really looking for opinion of yall for direction. I just purchased a Jay Feather 25BH and will be traveling from FL to MD.

I know that I am going to need to get a H2O pressure regulator & filter, surge protector(30A), and some eco tabs.

Is there anything that I am missing, or something that you wish you would've been told to get?

What is a good recommendation for a surge protector?

Progressive Industries, EMS (Energy Mangement System) 30amp products:

Progressive Industries RV Surge and Electrical Protection industry lea

Portable Style: EMS-PT30X 30 Amp EMS with Surge Protection

OR..........,

Hard Wired Style: EMS-HW30C 30 Amp EMS Surge & Electrical Protection

Shop around, prices very......., I went with the hard wired model.

I have my own blog where I cover this in some detail, but I'm not cross posting here (for ethical reasons). The list Crabman linked to should get you going. I'd say there are easily 15 must have items, and about 115 nice to have ones

Get your power / water / sewer stuff squared away first, the rest can usually wait.
