how can you use the road trip with the quick connect? I bought a Weber Q and have given up with the quick connect as it just doesn't get hot enough. Is there something you did to make it work properly?

There are several threads here that explain how to make a Weber Q work with the quick connect. I don't own one, but I do recall reading the threads. Now the Coleman Roadtrip grill I didn't know worked with the quick connect. It's good to know it does.

Correct.....you need to remove the regulator from the Weber to get more heat. After much research....I found Jacko's method the simplist.. Look in the other thread for these comments and links.

These are the 2 items I bought off Amazon for my Weber conversion, worked perfect, very easy:

Hose

Control Valve

On the control valve the only thing used is the quick disconnect, just unscrew it from the valve, attach to the Weber after the regulator has been removed, about $40.00 for the parts
