I was wondering if anyone had any experience with Kenda st radial tires. The tire I'm looking at is the Kenda Karrier KR03 st radial 225x75x15 10 ply. I'm going to replace my "d" rated 6 year old Marathons this winter with an "e" rated tire. Rims can handle 80 psi. Kenda Tire is located in Taiwan but not sure if their tires are manufactured there. I'm also looking at Maxxis made in Thailand/Taiwan. I missed the e-bay sale that discounttiredirect had on the Maxxis. I'm in no hurry for this upgrade and will probably wait for another sale on the Maxxis but just trying to gather info on any other brand. Etrailer has the Kenda tire for $109.95 but I found them here
ST225/75R15 LRE 10 Ply Kenda Karrier Radial Trailer Tire for $86 and free shipping. The only reason I'm considering this tire is because we had a set of old Marathons on our boat trailer and one of them blew out and the spare was a Kenda. Due to an unfortunate circumstance, I had to replace the other one with a Towmax. Same size tires and "c" load rating but the Kenda has no bulge when inflated to 50psi and the Towmax has a notable bulge with the same 50 psi. I knew the Towmax was junk but had no other recourse at the time. I know there's lots of options out there, some good and some not so good. Appreciate any info. Thanks, Terry
