Kudos to Jayco for replacement transfer switch

I had the power go out in my motorhome on our last trip. I assumed the campground power had gone out and notified the campground office of the problem. They sent a maintenance man out and determined that the problem was in my motorhome. I did some troubleshooting and found some melted wires in my Iota transfer switch. I did a quick and dirty repair, but the buss bar in the transfer switch had melted part of the switch. I emailed Jayco about the problem since I had heard of a recall on some motorhomes with Iota transfer switches. They informed me that mine was not covered under the recall but would replace it anyway. My warranty had expired months ago.

That's another of many reasons to stick with Jayco, IMHO.
