Ladder Reccomendations

I am looking to carry a ladder with me in the event a campsite repair is necessary on the awning or some other part of the trailer that is out of reach.

I already have a ladder mounted to the rear that I use to access the roof so this one will strictly be for maintenance / repair issues.

I was considering a collapsible one that I can store in a tube but I'm open to suggestions.

This one worked perfectly for me. I've had to use it to save my slideout topper during a hard blow in South Dakota. Invaluable!

I have the 6' collapsible step ladder sold at CW and am very happy with it. IIRC it's roughly 4.5" x 4.5" when collapsed. I now store it in a fence post under the rig, but it will also fit perfectly in the bed of the truck (6.5').

If, like you, I knew I'd be storing it in a tube/fence post when I bought it I'd have gone with the 7' as that extra foot would have come in handy a few times, especially on sites that aren't level.

Thanks for the replies - I will likely go with the one that I can store in a tube as that was my original plan.

I have the GPL 7' folding ladder, also stored in a vinyl fence post sleeve under the trailer. Comes in handy when needed, and glad I did buy the 7' model.

Found mine a little cheaper at ATGStores.com, but not sure if they still have it or not.

Thanks I'm definitely going to go for a 7 footer.

do you have a link to the 7' ladder? I searched the CW site and could not find it.
