I keep 1/3 tank of fresh water at all times. Take it to the CG and take it back home. Always good to have water for emergencies, especially if it comes from your regular home supply.

In that case, you could bring your coffee cup over to the trailer where the fresh water is draining, fill it up, take a big swig and then hand it to Officer Friendly. Of course he'd write you a ticket anyway for being a wiseguy.:hihi:

You have to admit that the fresh water trickling from someones spigot is not as bad as following a cattle truck where who-knows-what might come flying out of those big holes or following a semi that just left a garbage transfer station and has brown "gravy" running out of the tailgate.

Since we live in FL, we always top off the FW tank at our last campsite on the trip. That way we are set if we need to evacuate in a hurry. When traveling we run it down and only keep 10 gal or so at all times for flushing etc.
