We "inherited" my parents 2011 Jayfeather x17c recently, and the first pic is our setup on our first outing with it. The 2nd pic is the hubby snoozing with 2 of the dogs we usually travel with. We breed and show salukis, so dog shows will be our usual use of the trailer. Normally we set up ex-pens (think portable fencing) around the door so the dogs have a bit of a yard. Sighthounds don't do well on tie outs. I'll try to post a pic later of our full set up, but we're still working out how to make it work with the new trailer.

Sweet! The dogs gave your hubby just enough room to take his nap!

LOL Yeah, that's typical. Salukis are bags of bones, and they're SHARP everywhere. And as a breed in general, bed hogs. LOL We have a king sized bed at home, and limit them to 3 in bed with us and it's still pretty crowded. *grin*

And my shepherd after a day at the doggy park.
[/QUOTE]

A friend found some little "camp cot" type things that work well for smaller dogs. She uses them for her salukis at camp. I *think* she said she got them at WM.

Although we've had him 8 years, our companion just started camping with us a couple years ago. Freeway the wonderdog.....AKA Barkimaeus & Sir Barks-a-lot. Amazingly, he rarely barks when camping, though.

Here's Cole our black lab mix. He's been the best pup ever and I don't know if we'll even try another one. He is going on 14 and is definitely getting old. He still can't wait to go with us whether it is just outside or if we are loading the camper.

This was fall 2009:

Unfortunately my boy Stout, seen here in post #48 had to be put down because of Kidney failure. He was the best dog I ever had.

We got this new little girl, rescued from the SPCA Westchester, NY who got her from a high kill shelter. She's 4 months old and will take her maiden voyage this weekend to Lake George!
