You will not regret the Andersens. I used them the last time out, and the guy next door came over to check them out because he couldn't believe how quick we leveled the trailer. I have stick on levels, but I put a 4' level on the bumper and have my wife stand behind on the cell phone checking the bubble and tell me when to stop. If I don't hear her say anything, that means I went too far I guess!

Great post Imnaha and to the point - Too frequently we make thinks way too complicated AND expensive.

We use Tri-Lynx levelers. I got my 10 pack from Walmart and it was basically same price as Amazon had them for and I didn't have to wait for shipping.

If I'm parked on anything that isn't paved or gravel, I use HOSSPAD RV Jack Pads under the levelers to distribute the load and keep from sinking in.

I ended up buying the Anderson levelers and I love them. Only one time so far that they didn't give me enough lift. I had to put them on top of a section of 2x10 to get the proper height.

We use the Anderson's for our X23B and the fit just fine side by side under both wheels. We can level our rig around 1 minute on average. They are about $90 for a pair on Amazon which isn't cheap. We originally had cheap Camco (lego block) levelers which would pop all over the place when reversing. One time my wife was holding it with her foot as I backed on and almost ran over it.

After researching the Andersen Levelers and a few posts about them, unless I totally missed it somewhere, I have been unable to get the dimensions, or at least the length of the item. I measured my 5er and if they are 16 inches or shorter, they should work for me. Does anyone have the exact length and also any current thumbs up or down on their use? Thanks in advance......

Good one, tugboat95. Regarding my original question on the Andersen levelers, I did locate the length, 15 1/2" so they will probably work OK on my RV. I will be ordering them this week. Would still like to hear from anyone who has purchased these and your opinion of them.

I have used two levelers on our 23b successfully and then chock and x-chock the other side.

I bought a horse stall mat and cut it in various sizes- 10 inches wide x 10, 12, and 14 inches long- I stack them as needed to raise the low side- I block both wheels up as it seems more stable- These stall mats are made from ground up tires and don't crack or break or rot- Pricey? I don't think so as I'll never buy any more- JMHO- DD

We had the Big Foot auto leveling system on our fifth wheel..........yes I miss it. For leveling our WhiteHawk, I have three 2" x 6" planks cut to 60, 65, & 70 inches long, with polypropylene rope handles on each end. They are not heavy and fully support the tires on the side that requires elevation to level. To date, I have never needed to use more than 2 planks to level the trailer. Oh, yeah and two milk crates with 2" x 6" x 12" boards to place under the stabilizers as needed. Low tech to be sure, but not all that aggravating to use, especially with a beer in my free hand!

I ordered two of the Anderson leveler s off eBay. $89.70 delivered. I watched several videos...I don't see how I can go wrong and I can use one as a axle jack if necessary.

Leveling Question.

We've got the Andersen levellers and love them. Easy to use. One had to be trimmed for our x213. We may trim the other to match as well so it goes up both evenly.

We came from the BAL leveller on our previous single axle trailer and the Andersen levellers take less time than cranking up the BAL. But don't have as much height potential as the BAL.

I may be misunderstanding what you're saying here, but the Andersen product that is the jack is the Rapid Jack. We own it as well and it's much heavier duty than the levellers. I don't believe the levellers can be used as a jack.
