Leveling the TT

Where does everyone mount the levels they use? And which levels are everyone using? I have a 12 inch level which I used to level front to back by placing on the tongue support and used the water bottle test on the floor for side to side....LOL. Was thinking about using a bullseye level but where do you mount it? I was also thinking about putting the small sticky backed levels on the front right corners that way you can see then from the front of the TT when at the electric tongue jack.

We leveled the TT so the fridge was level inside the freezer, then stuck "Hoppy" style levels to the front center, and sides at the front. If you have a large TT, I've seen levels on the rear center, and rear side, also. The ones with graduation lines help with how much the TT has to go up side to side. Tons of choices on the market.

I just use an 18 inch level and lay it across the back bumper to level side to side and then lay it across the threshold of the door to level front to back. That's level enough for me.

I carry a 4' level and lay it across the tongue for side to side and on the steps for back to front.

Yes, use these stick on and your done. One in the rear for your DW to look at when she's helping you back up and one on the front when you have no spotter and the 3rd one on the side. Each mark means 1 inch of adjustment needed.
Each Lego gives you 1" of lift and I also carry 2 -1/2" boards for a finer adjustment.

I keep a torpedo level in the driver's side storage area.

Put it on the bumper or tongue as needed.

I use a 4ft and a 12" level. The long level goes on the frame under the entry door (midway front to back) and the 12" I use inside the trailer for side-to-side.

I check at the tongue and rear bumper as well. I'm a little OCD when it comes to being level.

Yeah, $1,000 to replace the cooling unit along with a week's worth of spoiled food can make one paranoid that way.

I started out using a small torpedo on the floor just inside the door. Verified that the fridge is level if the floor is level. Then later I verified that the floor and the frame up front match, so now I just use the torpedo on the frame. I have the stick-on ones that I bought when I first bought my trailer, they're still in the original packaging. One of these days when I have the trailer perfectly level, I'll go out and stick them on someplace... been saying that for a year and a half now...

We don’t trust the bumper or the front frame I have found them both to be off from the floor. I guess it could be the floor or the frame that's wrong but we like the floor level.

I made sure they're level with one another.

Torpedo level for us. Get the fridge as close to level as possible, and as a bonus my eggs won't run to one side of the pan.

Sometime when you can "get your trailer level" then go around to several places and see how close they are to level. You'll find that level is a relative term because most places won't match the others.

Pick a spot and go with it.

I use a smart level just inside the door.
The smart level is a tool leftover from an old job I had( I wouldn't spend the $ for one for this purpose).
It's basically a sensitive digital 2' level.
It comes in real handy when I'm setting up alone due to an audible beep when it hits level. I can easily hear it from the tongue jack and from the stabilizers.

I like the idea of leveling from the refrigerator. I'll try it next trip!

I also have the stick on levels in their packaging. I'll have to set them next time I'm perfectly level.

Thanks for the tips!
