locking battery box for 24FBS

Anyone use the TorkLift Power Armor Locking Battery Box, TLA7708R?
Looks life it would work for my front A-frame. on my 24FBS. However, the thing is pricey at $296.99 from eTrailer.com. Also I only have about 11" to work with so a hinged truck bed storage box won't work - can't open the lid.
Your thoughts?

HappyRVing,
Jeff

I bought one of the Torklift boxes and had it mounted on top of A-Frame on my old StarCraft 18QB. It fit just fine although I did move the propane tanks forward as much as possible.

I bought a new Jayco 23RLS and I switched the box over to it and all works great the sliding lid is a great space saver.

Here are a few pics of the box mounted on my 18QB.

Thanks TEX. Nice install and I like your disconnect. Looks like you have about as much room as I do. How the heck do you access the front lock to slide off the top? Removing the propane tank covers work okay to do that? How did you fasten to the frame?

Happy RVing,
Jeff

Have room for the key in lock not a problem no need to remove Propane cover.

I used self tapping screws to mount the box to A- Frame.
