Mattress Cover

This may have been addressed in some other post, but a site search did not turn up the information I need.
We just got a new foam topper for our round corner short queen "Denver" mattress (what a lumpy POS) in order to try that as a solution before spending the big bucks on a new mattress. DW and I do not like the feel of sheets laid directly on the foam, and would like to find a mattress cover that would fit this rounded bottom mattress. Have any of you found the best place to get something like that? I know a number of the Jayco TTs and MHs use this shape of mattress, so I am hoping for some help here.

We tried a topper on our lumpy "pillow top deluxe" and it didn't help much. Just got from Amazon a Serenia sleep 8 inch foam mattress for $332. Have not slept on it yet but sure seems much better just laying on it..

To make it clear to everyone, we already have a 2" bilayer foam "mattress topper" which we just bought. It is bare foam so we can cut it to size for the round end short queen in our MH. What we are looking for is just a "mattress cover" with little or no padding and elastic all around the edges so we don't have the sheets laying directly on foam.
Thanks

I recall seeing (somewhere) a person in a similar situation, used/made elastic bands with clips on the ends (suspender/mitten clips) and a standard size mattress pad. They pulled the excess material under the mattress. They used the elastic bands under the mattress and clipped to the mattress pad to keep the material under the mattress and keep the pad tight.

I kept this solution in mind because I was sure someday I'd face a similar problem.Maybe it will help you.

Here is another one on Amazon similar to the earlier post but without the polyurethane coating. I agree the mattress is a "lumpy POS" - we are adding a 3" gel memory foam topper along with this cover:

I just use a standard heated mattress cover on my short queen w/square corners. I'd think a standard mattress cover would work on your round-corner short queen. You might have to fold over the corners, but who cares? You're going to sleep on the top! And your sheets will hold in any excess fabric. JMHO!

I hated the mattress and bought a mattress topper that had its own cover. To keep it on the mattress I used Queen fitted sheets and tucked the excess under the top part of the mattress. Sleep like a baby now!

I've posted elsewhere that our queen-short bed, accessible from both sides, had a couple of free inches before the entertainment center. SO ... we [1] purchased a Costco queen-regular topper (love it) that consumed those free inches so we could convert the queen-short to a queen-regular and then [2] purchased a good-quality ultra-padded queen-regular mattress pad and sheets for very reasonable prices from Amazon. Now, we sleep great ... until the dog wakes us.
