Mattress Movement

We are having a problem with our mattress shifting at night.

Background: We started out with a Denver mattress, but within a few months changed it out to a Sleep Number mattress - the Denver mattress formed "body grooves" very quickly.

The problem we have is that, with both mattresses, they tend to shift at night, moving away from the headboard toward the end of the bed, and, to a lesser extent, off to one side (usually my side). In the morning, there is a 2" to 4" gap at the top of the bed and one side has shifted an inch or so to one side.

Do others have similar problems? If so, what have you done about it?

I have thought of putting the stickie drawer liner material under the mattress, or putting some kind of bracket at the end of the bed to hold the mattress inplace, but would really like to hear how others have solved this problem.

Thanks

Rick

Would be interested in hearing as well because our mattress does move but not as much as you indicate. In our Cameo we had the Select Comfort & never had an issue with it moving, even when traveling.

The bigger question is can Cambpellizer's homemade stabilizers http://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/f1...ers-37539.html keep BOTH the trailer and the mattress from moving???
