I use a Verizon MIFI hotspot. It's not satellite internet, but Verizon seems to have very good coverage. For satellite coverage you might check out HughesNet.

Verizon has a Sat Phone not sure if it does data. The only other option is Hughes Net, but they don't condone setting up the dish yourself. Moto Sat went out of business.

As mentioned in an earlier post, HughesNet. Understand TREES, MOUNTAINS and anything else between you and the satellite will kill your signal/data rate. You may be out of luck. As for cell service in the mountains, Verizon has the most service areas, followed by AT&T. We were in the mountains and the kids had AT&T and no service so they used our Verizon phones

Clear view of the satellite location you should have a good signal... they may have a Satellite TV/Internet package for you?????

I think when I switched to Dish Network a few months ago they also offered satellite internet, don't know any details though. I don't think anyone offers anything near land line speed via satellite, if you need that.
Here is a link to the Dish blurb.

I believe dish also partnered with a cell provider for their internet service.

If you are in or near a CG, or store that has free Wi-Fi you can look into the Wi-Fi signal extenders. The one I have is good for around 1.5 miles (line of site). We were in a CG (Colorado mountains) with only Electric/Water and there was a Home Depot on a ridge about a mile and a half away, I was able to stream the Rays game (from our Slingbox at home) with no breakup, but that only needs about 3Mb of service. May help you through your travels.

Here is a link to our Social group for Wi-Fi extenders.
