Moderators doing a great job !

Recently there have been some posts indicating that moderators are being too picky, and are deleting more than they should.

I would just like to say that I think the mods are doing a terrific job, and their efforts really make this a great forum in which to participate. In fact, the pleasant comraderie and informative posts are the main reasons I visit the forum just about every day. The mods make that possible.

Keep up the good work !

x2 on that sentiment! I've found this forum very informative and helpful in getting ready for hitting the road for a month-long trip in August. And I know the moderators are taking time out from their personal lives to tend to this little forum, so thank you all!

The volunteer moderators on this forum are doing a great job in keeping this forum civil and at the same time open to discussions about various aspects for RVing. As well they regularly share their experience and knowledge.

Thanks to each of the volunteers who keep this site valuable and interesting.

Peter

x3 or 4 or what ever we're up to.... Owning a large forum myself, I know that the moderators jobs can sometimes be tough. Having to edit someone's post, completely remove it or sometimes remove the entire topic is always disheartening to do, add on top of that that they will often receive flack about the action because it becomes personal with many who have the action taken against them.

I haven't seen any huge issues here which either mean that 16,032 members all get along perfectly or the moderators are keeping the peace behind the covers.

While I certainly can not speak for the moderators here, I suspect it would be true. If you happen to get moderated (post edited, deleted etc) don't take it personally. It's likely that the moderators have already forgotten about it, unless of course it's become a habit, but by then you've probably been spoken to. If you do disagree, do it in private, chances are high that the majority of members will support the moderators action.

Great job gang, and happy camping!
