Moderators..Good or BAD poll..

How do you rate the Moderators on this site.
I have been on numerous forums from the Great to the BAD.
On one piticular un-named Pontoon forum, which I no longer visit, the Moderators completely ruined it. They corrected every grammar error..every post they thought to long by going in and condensing it down, remove whole post for one ill advised word when they could have just xx out the word. Remove whole post for minor controversy. Always moving post to different areas. If they didn't like a paticular subject..gone.And lots more. They totally ruined the forum.

JOF has been great. One of the best forums I go to. Always help from members when needed..very few A Holes and by the way if you don't know who the A Hole is in a group...it may be you....

Rate them from 1-5, 1 being the best...5 the worst.

So far they have been unobtrusive from what I have seen, which is FANTASTIC. ! Means they are doing a great job...not an easy one, for a year or so I was a moderator on the PGR (Patriot Guard Riders) site...massive job and under appreciated.

Believe it or not I once did a "pulse of the forum poll" to get opinions on the job us moderators were doing at that time. Here it is and the results:

In a way, this poll is kinda futile since, if the moderators are bad or biased, they would either modify the poll results or "get" the ones who voted that they were bad.

This Foum is basically "Self Moderated" just like another one I'm on and I think that is the way is should be. If there is someone who gets way out of line we can report them if necessary. The MODS also only remind people to calm down when things really get rough and that, to me, is good.

I doubt we would do that and I'm sorry you think that

... and of course, how do we know what YOU really said? Or if you are really Lady Fitzgerald or a moderator spoofing us!
