Many of us often camp with family or friends. Your pass only applies to the pass holder and ID and only covers that persons site. If your party is setting up on a separate site [and do not have their own pass] at the regular price. Getting your wife a pass would allow her to enter via the other vehicle and register the 2nd site in her name using her senior pass.
If you are the only one that has a pass, then you must be present when you sign in. We ran into this when we took our new white Hawk to a COE CG across the lake from where we live. I drove the TT over and DW came over in the pontoon. I got there first but if it were the other way, she would not have been able to get the discounted price.
