My guitar weeps.

Today we lost the greatest guitar picker the world has ever seen. Rest in peace, Glen Campbell.

One of a kind.

I'm going to go home after work, put my Gentle on my Mind LP on the turn table, pour a Jack and enjoy some truly great music.

He suffered from Alzheimers. We have been caring for my mother now for 7+ years as she has battled dementia. I realize what a horrible way it is to go. May he rest in peace.

I was playing some classic Glen at a campground last week. A bunch of kids were making faces like "What the hell are you listening to"? I tried to explain that THIS was actual music instead of the crap they listen to today. I wasn't very successful.

Rest in Peace Sir!

"Gentle on my Mind" is exactly what I thought of too. RIP Mr Campbell.

As I was growing up it wasn't cool to listen to Glen Campbell. As I aged and got smarter I realized just how talented he was. Wichita Lineman is one of those songs that still touches me, deeply.

RIP Glen
