Need electric tongue jack advice

I'm looking to put an electric tongue jack on my 19Bh. There are quite a few brands out there and I'm looking for advice on which one to buy. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Got mine from Ebay and was a remanufactured Ultra-Fab. Had a problem and since it was still under warrenty they replaced it prior to giving me a return shipping label where they picked up the charges.

Great service and quick.

Look for the largest capacity that will fit in your tongue tube. Installation can be done in about 15 minutes with the trailer hooked to the tow vehicle.

Many will tell you other brands and all seem to be good. I went with the service side and cost.

I used Mantelli on Ebay for only around $70.00.

X2 - purchased from eBay. It arrived quickly, went in real easily, and it was the best price I could find. Free shipping too.

Michigan built Barker here as well. Many of the others are China specials.

I have had numerous trailers over the years, both camping and car hauling, and put an Atwood on each and every one. Never had problem one. Never had to return any, never had to replace any parts. My oldest Atwood jack is now about 18 years old, and still works perfectly. Hope this helps.

My current trailer came with an Atwood electric tongue jack. It is 9 years old. It has never given me a problem.

I installed a Barker on my previous trailer. I used it for 2 years without issue.

Look at the switch location and installation issues prior to install. Some may have the switches and/or the motor head in an awkward position for your set-up.

What ever brand you choose be sure and get one a little bigger than what you think you need. To aid in attaching spring bars for a WD hitch you will also have to slightly lift the back of the truck.

They're talking electric tongue jack, which saves on hand-cranking up & down. It's probably one of the best things I've purchased for my TT.

Never had an electric tongue jack on my boat trailers or atv trailer, but will have the electric jacks on my new fifth-wheel. I think the thing that will take getting used to is the speed of the jacks compared to doing it yourself. At least if you are cranking yourself, you can speed up if you want to get it done faster. I don't know if you can do that with the electric jacks. We'll see if I like mine later this year, when we actually get to use the FW.

Electric tongue jacks are well worth the money. It's so easy for hookups to the truck. I ordered from jayco at time of order of the TT. It's my first and will order on my next TT as well.

I had one of those powder coated china specials on my last TT that was installed as part of my purchase package. It looked like most of the $75.00-$90.00 units out there for sale and did perform well for the 2 seasons I used it. The light rusted out within the first year but the housing and motor did work without issue. Although it did make me nervous that it did not have a backup manual crank which knowing what I know now would have been mandatory.
They are faster than hand cranking and worth every penny IMHO. I would look at the more expensive units and if one offers a manual backup go for that one. If not make sure you carry a jack and some boards for a backup.

I have had the Barker VIP electric jack on an older Jayco Qwest 244B and moved it to my 2010 Jayco 23FB and it has never given me a lick of trouble. Raises the tongue with no problem. Good quality. I invert a 5 gallon bucket on mine and hold that down with a bungie cord passed under the a frame, hooking it to each side of the bucket to keep the rain off it when not in use.

The Barkers have a manual crank. You remove the screws that hold the level on top of the powerhead and insert it there. Not had to use it yet, knock on wood.

Atwoods have a manual crank as well. You don't have to remove anything to access the manual crank attachment.
