New 2016 Eagle HT 26.5RLS

What kind of discount or $$ off the sticker price would you expect for a new 2016 model. Dealer website shows a sticker price of $46,000. I've not seen the unit in person so don't know any details or options on it. Every dealer is different I know, and it also depends on how bad they want to sell one.

Are there other thinks to look at/for since the unit has been on their lot for a little while at least?

You might go to RV Direct, if I'm correct. Take a look at their prices, price one out on their site and see what the difference is. When we bought ours in 2012, the discount was over 35% on the RV Direct site but I then took this quote to the closest dealer, 150 miles away, and he pretty matched the price with transportation added in. Still ended up with about 35% off.

The 26.5 RLS looks like it is being discontinued (Jayco notes the 2017's are limited to existing dealer stock). RVDirect/RVOne primarily only quote prices on new models. It may not benchmark well on a "new" one year old model, if they quote at all.
Try NADA for what a used one may cost, and work up a bit from there, since this is sort of new - warranty yes, but tires, roof, seals, exterior have had a year plus of the elements. Who knows how many people have walked through, how many RV shows it has been to, etc.

4 years ago my Jayco dealer gave us a 28% off on the then current version of the 26.5RLS. Currently, another brand is giving us 32% off of their current model trailer.

So, I'd guess you could push hard for 35% off for one that has been on the lot for a while, and still be "fair" to the dealer.

I've seen the "Dealer Stock Only" on Jayco's website and wondered what that meant. I wonder what floorplan will be next, I like the overall size & layout of the 26.5.

Thanks for the suggestions.

In my shopping, I found that a couple of the brands that made light RLS versions through 2016 have now dropped them in the smaller sizes. It makes one wonder why they are going out of favor with some companies in some sizes. Lack of demand? A decision to standardize frames so they could negotiate better with Lippert? We thought ours was near perfect, but the increase in weight over the last couple of years has pushed us out of the 5th market. Bummer.

Jayco may be going to the 27.5 RLS as their newest small, short light FW. It seems to be about the same set-up as the 26.5 just 1' longer. Perhaps in order to facilitate bringing in the big slide without having to move the chair in the rear of the FW.

I would think that on a disco model like that you should get at least 30% off so, if that's your target, you need to ask for more . With the RV industry as hot as it is right now, I don't think dealers are discounting as much as they were several years ago however, this unit may be different and you may be in luck.
As for replacing this unit with the 27.5 model, I can say from experience that 1 more foot would be welcomed, especially in the bedroom at the foot of the bed. I also personally think the 27.5 has a better floor plan. However, I did notice that the CCC is considerably less, so that would not work for me.
