An un-named auction site that starts with the letter "e" and ends with the letter "y". $7 including shipping directly from China....but be cautioned, I don't see a UL Sticker on it. But lets face it....as campers, we live on the edge of blowing up or burning ourselves to a crisp everytime we we head out....that's just the way we roll!!!

This looks like the ebay/china link... Think I will get one too.. It is a DM55-1 model - Guess you have to be sure to select the AMERICAN model to get the correct 120VAC plug... a Great NIGHT LITE with a purpose...

Yup - that's the one Roy! I've used mine twice and haven't even been camping yet. I just did the spring check-up on our 5000W generator.

I'll probably get my off-road popup setup in a couple of days for its first checkout of the season... I have pretty neat spot here at the house just at the edge of the woods - it truly is a CAMP BACKYARD spot at the entrance to my BIGFOOT trailhead... Never know what comes down this trail.... I know already I am down to two 85AH batteries. Wanting to get whole new setup for batteries this season. Shooting for two 150AHs on the trailer tongue and then two more identical 150AHs in the bed of the truck. Then when POPUP camping I can add the two banks together...

I'm also interested in getting my new designed HYDRONIC hot water heater setup to replace my propane furnace which is way to much heat for my POPUP and is very loud to operate along with it uses too many amps to run the 12VDC furnace blower at 6-8AMPS.

Your 5000watt generator is alot of power for your setup. I only use a 2KW Honda generator for my setup and its only use is to recharge my battery bank in a three hour generator run time at breakfast each morning. We run all the 120VAC and 12VDC toys we want to run from the battery banks and then re-charge batteries the next morning to be able to do all of this all over again fro the next day/night battery run. Got pretty successful at this in the past 4-5 years...

First thing the wife makes me do is debug the trailer for spiders and criters...

Roy....sorry, I should have clarified. The 5000W generator is for emergency use at the house to keep the well and fridge going ;-)
