When we ordered our Seneca on 5 Dec, we were told to expect a March delivery. Last week that was changed to a May delivery. Don't have much faith in anything they have told us, so the wife and I will be ready for a delivery between March and May. Being retired, we can pretty much drop what we are doing and head to Tampa for the pick-up.

The longer build times on a particular unit does not mean better workmanship! If you have ever been on the factory tour it was explained that these workers come in very early in the morning and are told how many units they need to build that day and when they finish that number they go home. The day we went the quota was 11 and a lot of the workers had already gone home by 1:00 pm.

This is what I ordered. Went to dealer on Saturday (1/21) and he said it would be April/May but Im not holding my breath. I expect it to be around early June.

delivery date

I ordered mine at a show here in upstate NY on 1/6/17. It is a jayflight 38FDDS. Dealer told me it will be built in February and delivered by beginning of March. That was as of yesterday. They are storing until camping season anyway.

interesting

I spoke with Jayco yesterday regarding something and asked about delivery or build date. They said while they did not have one that they could see...they did say my dealer had ordered several of my trailers in August of last year and my special order was put to one of them prior ordered. My sales person also told me they expect several in by the end of the month or beginning of March. Maybe this is their run for the 38 FDDS? Guess I will wait and see.

I waited 10.5 weeks for my 2016 38FDDS. I ordered it around 11/1/15 and it arrived on 1/20/16. The initial estimate was 8-12 weeks, so it showed up right in the middle of what I was told. It was the longest 10.5 weeks of my life!!
When did you order it?

Sorry for your extended wait!

I would have to agree. When we picked ours up there was residue from just about every aspect of the build. I did notice a few things such as the awning, slide outs, and trim work seemed to be of less quality than I think should be. I think a little more QC checks may help slow down having to take my camper back and leave it for weeks at a time for them to fix. I didn't purchase it to sit at the dealer for weeks to be fixed.

Here's an update on our Jay Flight 21QB, we ordered it on Friday, December 30th, I just received a telephone call from our salesperson saying that it is built and we are scheduled for a walk-through and to complete our paperwork on Monday, February 20th. Original delivery date was mid-April.

Good deal on early delivery. I ordered a eagle 28.5 on February 1 and told to expect delivery on about may 1. Maybe the new building facility they built is shorting build times. I'll update as I get new info.

Have you got your trailer yet? I ordered a 330RSTS on January 3, 2017 and the Area Rep told me that the last run on the 330RSTS was in August...that would reason why no new ones have been posted by any dealers on RVTRADER since November. He was going to check but he thought that they planned to run the 330RSTS in April. seems like a awfully long time between runs.

We ordered our 2017 Eagle 321rsts June 2, 2016 and it was delivered 16 weeks to the day. Regardless of well intended projections by the dealer, an accurate delivery date can not be obtained until the factory has assigned a vin # to your build. From everything I have read and heard and from personal experience, a 6-8 week delivery would be like winning the lottery.

Ordered ours on 2/20/2017. The dealer called Jayco and was told that the delivery date would be between the last week of March and the first week of April. Keeping fingers crossed.

update

Got a vin # from my sales girl and said trailer would be offline March 8th and delivered shortly after. Not bad since I ordered it January 7th at the show. Actually at the show that was the estimate given to me was the beginning of March.

our 330RSTS was ordered on 8/12/ and after some weeks we we told that it may be in 8-10 weeks. Later were told maybe Febrauary or March. Got a call last week. It will be shipped on 3/29. Sometimes I wished that I hadn't wanted a new Jayco, but we fell hard for the 330RSTS. I just hope that this new Jayco will be as good or better than our 2005 298BHS. It has been a great trailer, but it is time to move up our dream trailer, the 330RSTS. Oh, there is only one Jayco dealer in our state.
