Talking new to jayco

after years of wifes whining we bit the bullet on 2010 heartland northcountry 32bhds ,what a mistake problems the lenght of my arm but when the roof starter leaking (3gallons in 5 hours)that was the last straw this was all in the first 4 mnths.so we took a loss and upgraded to a 32rls jayflight g2.there is some items that jayco should look at compared to heartland (cabinets storage. sewer flush, exterior lighting conpartment lighting) but i can live without these as the jayco is now 60days old and not 1 problem and keeps the rain out. they cost more but i guess you get what you pay for.i hope the jayco can hold up to all the reveiws i have read. sofar glad to be a jayco owner and member

I've often heard it said during our recent trailer shopping (we just got a jayfeather 28r) that the most important parts and facts of the trailer you're buying can't be seen. Good luck with you're Jayco! I made the same gut decision; some of the Keystone products we looked at were more reasonable but my perception of Jayco quality won out. Good luck to both of us!

I have been FT in my new Designer since mid-August and no water leaks at all. We had 5 inches of rain in 12 hours a couple of weeks ago. I did have to hook up and move my Designer after the rain and level up my new gravel pad after the rain. It settled a bit on one side, but you sure can't blame that on the Jayco.

So far the only problems I have had:

vacuum system accessory broke
plastic clips holding the clear barrier on the storm door were cracked
one ceiling recessed light fixture lens fell out and broke

All covered under Jayco's warranty or in the case of the vacuum accessory, my dealer is working with the manufacturer to get me a new part.

Happy Camper here!
