Here is another good one....

There are multiple height warnings approaching this underpass, but it happens all the time.

Let`s not forget this one. I love the 8' sign in the pic. That`s icing on the cake.

Poor old man has probably driven under that bridge daily for the past 50 years and was thinking about showing off his new aquisition and planning his maiden voyage when this happened. No excuse, but.......

Sure loos like a bridge in Canton, Ohio. If it is, it's taken off many a top off of semi trailers. They now have chains hanging down about 50' feet before bridge. Hit the chains, hit your brakes or the bridge will win again.

Poor guy probably now knows why those oncoming cars were flashing their lights at him.

This RR bridge is in downtown Longview,Tx near where I live.If I had a dollar for every vehicle that has hit that one I'd have more time to travel:hihi:

I'm paranoid about tree branches let alone an 8' bridge! Notice the double reinforcement beams above the cops head? I saw a class A motor home get his A/C unit wedged under the Mackinac Bridge approach on the south end a few years back.

Went to Williamsburg couple years ago (shocker with my name right) and saw a box truck that took out the awning on a hotel entrance. Next time we came by it was all fixed up. Time after that the whole hotel was torn down and they were building a CVS. Felt sorry for the people that had to pay all that money to rebuild the awning then to see the building torn down few months later.

That was one of the first things I asked " how tall is this" I was told my 31FS was 11'3" so I just consider if 11' 6"". If I see a sign less than 13 I just avoid it.

So far my only issue has been low hanging tree branch on narrow roads and campgrounds.

i was just thinking the same thing. that was the first thing I asked. I knew I had to clear the 12' door in our building. Putting a reminder in the cab is a great idea. By the way low branches don't do good things for combines around here either.
