New to RVing - top list of tools to bring

Something that has proven invaluable at times when changing tires next to busy traffic lanes when no other option is available...the foldable/collapsible reflective traffic warning triangles. I have a plastic case that holds 3 and the last time I used them was this past weekend to make it safer to get into and out of my truck while changing a flat/exploded tire. Those were the first thing I reached for...otherwise I think my chances of becoming roadkill were almost 100%. I set the first one back about 500ft, then 250, and last one at 100ft; progressively pushing passing cars to halfway into the other lane. That causes all traffic around your flat zone to slow down and move over with caution. My first blow out experience was without the triangles and I had to run for cover whenever a car or truck passed by. No one wants to slow down or move over willingly anymore even when your flashers are giving plenty of warning....

This is a great tip for all things camper related. All your towels, bedding, forks, plates and tools should be strictly dedicated to the camper if possible. It will make your life a lot easier.

I'm of this camp as well - but admittedly, I don't over-prepare when it comes to tools....just the basics.

BTW....your TT probably didn't come with a lugwrench....have you checked to make sure you carry one that fits your TT lugs?
