No hot water

Make sure the outside shower knobs are off. The spray wand may be off and the knobs on allowing cold and hot water to mix in the system.

Glad you found the overall problem. Now the decision is is it worth it to take it back to have it fixed. It might be if you want to explain less if you plan to resale it.
