NorthPoint LED Awning light issues

Our LED lights over one of our awnings will not turn off by the control panel switch which is how we turned it on. It's the awning adjacent to the hallway. The switch does not fully seat in the off position. It worked the previous night but will no longer turn off. The switch for the awning over the slide works.

Does anyone know of a fix other than have the dealer look at it?

I would take the switch plate off and inspect and replace if necessary.

It's not a typical light switch. It's the small rocker switch on the master control panel.

Try the remote (if you have one). I know on my rig, if the lights are activated via the remote, you have to use the remote to shut them off. The switch will do nothing. Maybe it will work even if you didn't use the remote to turn them on.

If it's not the remote as stated, then I would check the rocker switch.
A rocker switch is still just a switch that protrudes through the switch plate usually. Pretty simple to replace if necessary versus taking back to dealer.

The remote worked to turn off the lights. That was the first time I actually used the remote so I know the remote didn't turn the lights on in the first place. Problem solved!
