Officially done camping for the season..... :-(

Winterized the Jayco last night and I am taking it out to my indoor storage this weekend. We had a pretty good camping season with about 35 nights this year. It is going to be a long winter......blaaaah!

Why so early??? I know you're up there in Canada, but Fall is the best time of the year to go camping!

Not being to camp in the winter is the curse of the working class.

I feel your pain, I'm in southern B.C. And it has been just too stormy to camp. I ended up putting my TT to hibernation last month.

I can relate. One more trip over fall break and we're done as well. At least we were out 35 nights.

We have one more trip planned. I think we will have about 35 nights in to this year. I wish it would have been more, but work has been interfering this year. Hopefully next year we will have 50+ nights.

Wow, we are just getting to the best time of the year.
The heat is gone, the tourists are gone, the CGs are not overcrowded, it is great.

We're heading there. One more trip next weekend and our first year of camping with the trailer is complete. We didn't get into things until June and our first year so can't keep up with you 30+ peeps. I think we'll end with 25. Next year the goal posts are set!

I was hoping to get 30 nights in, but the fall weather has stunk so far that it just hasn't happened. Maybe next year...though it will be tough between other trips that don't involve the TT. Plus work seems to always get in the way. I can't retire yet and work pays for the camping so I'm stuck. I'm jealous of the 30+ nights you guys get! Someday!

I always camp in the winter. Granted, it does not get as cold here as where many of you others are. MLK weekend, is usually one of my weekends I go. Last year, it actually snowed when we went to the beach. I had never seen snow at the beach, so it was kinda neat!

Have a "for sure" weekend planned later this month. Hoping we can camp locally over Thanksgiving holiday. We'll see! Our tally should be 40 nights this year. I have inspired a family member to purchase a used camper and join us next year!

We are actually having a great fall here but the kids are in too much extra curricular activities on weekends once September comes around that it is just too hard to get out. We managed 30+ nights this year so I am pretty happy. It will actually be nice to get my driveway and my half of the garage back again. Just a short 8 month wait till spring.....ugggggghhh

One more trip out for us and that will include winterizing on the day we leave. Lots easier to winterize on a full hook up site.

We've had 38 nites camping so far this year. Planning 2 or 3 more for the coming week, then will be winterizing the TT. Hoping for some nice fall colors on this outing, along with sunny weather.

That would be her, are you an Abbotsford firefighter? Spent 12 years as an auxiliary in that dept.
