No answers, but a couple of questions:
Have you researched the charging requirements of those batteries? If you plan to recharge them through the RV's converter, will that be OK for those batteries?

I thought that the blue top battery is for Marine use. I used to have 3 optima for my Jeep. 2 for starting, when started they both would be charged from the Alternator and 1 yellow top in the pickup bed for other things that I had. The reason why I had 2 red tops is I had a 9000 lb winch and some huge light for 4 wheeling. The batterys lasted 9 years, could not believe it. worked great.

I have a yellow top in my car, 2nd one. My first one lasted almost 8 years in hot Florida with the a/c on 90% of the time. These are great batteries, they have a matt fiber so no problem with leaks & positioning makes no difference. They are not for quick charging though only slow charges if they loose power.

Optima battery charging reqirements

Here you go....
Everything you wanted to know about Optima battery charging, from Optima

Support - Battery Care - Charging | OPTIMABATTERIES

The difference between RED...YELLOW... BLUE BATTERIES
http://www.optimabatteries.com/en-us/support/faqs/

Remember that the Optima battery line is a hybrid (dual-purpose) battery and not a TRUE deep cycle battery, not that I have anything against them.

I have 6 Optima Blue tops in a 42' toy hauler. They work great! Residential fridge power hog and the wife has the TV on all night. We get thru the night just fine. have had it 1 year and the best way to charge them is with our 480 watt Zamp Solar system. Has reduced Gen use dramatically.
The blue tops are maintaince free thus my choice from the beginning.

Optima's are HIGHLY overrated. Avoid unless you want a middle of the road battery for top dollar. There are many, many other Group 27 AGM's that sell for less, and have higher capacity. Google Trojan batteries, for one. Or look at switching to 2 6v flooded golf cart batteries.

Here's a link to a thread doing research on batteries (cost vs power) for a trolling motor (same kind of need as an RV). He was looking at a larger size, but it should help guide you in your own research.

I have the red top in my off-road buggy and it has been in the buggy for 8 years. It has taken a lot of beatings and still works great.
