Outside rail

My X23B has the rail mounted to the side of the camper to hang a grill from but I don't have a grill. I'm toying with the idea of building a table to hang here that I believe would be very useful but I can't find any information on what the rail is rated to hold up. I don't want to build a nice table and then rip the rail off the side! Lol. Anyone know the weight limit is?

This is not mine but one that was for sale a few years ago. They used the standard grill mount that comes with the grill. I have a picture of one , I'll try and find it.

Anyone know what the piece is called that I will need to order so that I can attach to my table to hang from that rail? I won't be home for a few weeks and would like to order it and have it waiting on me when I return.

Very ingenios! We used to have your trailer, but we had a grill on it. If you want to add a grill I'd be happy to give you the manufacturer.

Like Tunce, I used the existing RVQ bracket to add a shelf; maybe not as finished as his, but functional. Mine inserts onto the two arms - no parts other than 1 2*8 cut down and glued up. Note that the grill arms are available from the manufacturer, the link was posted here on JOF a few months back, try a quick search for RVQ bracket or similar terms.

ETA: there is no weight limit listed on the bracket. It is very sturdy, and I would be most worried about damaging the siding on the TT where the bottom of the bracket rests. That spot takes the most of the force.

Okay, that may have been a wild goose chase, because I couldn't find the link to the manufacturer site anymore. But I did find this link that should work. $25 for the part:

http://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/me...lbums1117.html Just for grins, I made this from scraps in the shop, except the rails, that came from our dealer. Needed a table for cooking utensils, etc.

How did you attack that to the rail on the trailer? You didn't use the rvq rack like most have?
