Painting interior??

Has anyone tried painting the interior walls of their Jayco? I'm thinking of doing this at some point and am looking for 'how to' wisdom.

I would think any good quality interior paint would work. I think I would wash them first to remove any built up foreign material that might have settled there. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

I have painted paneling in homes many times. It should not be ant different.
I would clean it with some type solvent to remove grease/ dust then I would prime it with Kilz or something like. Paint with a Satin or Eggshell finish latex top coat.

I'm not thinking that will work due to the surface gloss. I would think you need to use some sort of chemical that etches the gloss. You may want to try a small inconspicuous area before tackling the entire job. Just my .02 worth.

I've done the same thing and would have to agree

Parents did it to one of their old tts, that was 20 years ago. Surface prep is key.

You paint it you own it!!! Some day it might be a hard sell with painted walls. Now this is only me talking but I would never buy or even look at a travel trailer with painted walls. Again I'm sorry for being so blunt but I hope your not making a mistake on its resale value.
