Wink Park model bungalow

I am a greyhawk 31ds owner but looking into a park model bungalow 40fer because we are tired of traveling and want to settle into a seasonal campgrounds. Any opinions on park models would be appreciated and also does anyone know how Jayco handles the two year warrantee? When you settle into a site it would be hard to hook up and haul it to a dealer for warrantee repair. Maybe we need a separate forum for park models. Looking for all the input I can get.

Thanks

Bob

We don't the Jayco park model but have what I call a semi-park model. It is a 2012 36BHDS that we have on a permanent site in central PA. and just love it. We looked at the park model but did not like the bunk layout. We had the RV dealer (Rhones in Williamsport) deliver it to the site and set it up. Also, struck a deal where they will give us two free service calls to the site, which is about 45 minutes away, during the warrantee period. We really love the big glass sliding door, the rear bedroom door and the full size refrigerator. Check it out.

We didn't have a park model but did have a 2008 Jayco TT on a seasonal site. After our first year of ownership while up on the roof checking the seams, caulk, etc I noticed the tape that runs along slides was bubbled in a few places. A mobile RV tech guy that services campgrounds in the area took pictures, fixed it with Eternabond tape, and submitted a warranty claim with Jayco. No cost to me, no paperwork to submit, thanks Jayco!
