Patio mat

Would like suggestions for a decent patio mat. Our Wally World mat is coming apart after less than a year of usage.
Thanks in advance, TomC

We use the Camco 8'x20' and it's been a good one.

We also have the Camco mat. We used it 90+days last season, but not at all so far this season. It looks like new and cleaned up easily after being in the mud after heavy rains.

I bought my patio mat off ebay years ago. It is the woven plastic type, looks like plastic straw. Best mat I ever used and so easy to clean and dries quick.

It's unanimous and It's pretty much the standard mat you see at most campsites...

We don't always use one so went to Costco and they had 7x10 (?) carpet looking things for $15. Could also get in green. I think Lowes has them too.

When we stop at one of our longer destinations that need one I buy one and put it out. At the end of the month or two visit it gets trashed.

I used to keep an artificial grass version in the trailer. But, trying to put it away when wet, then getting it out to dry so it doesn't mold/mildew was a PITA.

For places where we just need a doormat, we get a doormat.

Outdoor rugs can bring in aesthetically pleasing look to your patio, at the same time it will keep all the dirt, weather related moisture and dust off your spaces. Flat weave rugs are suitable for outdoor space as it is shed less and resistant to wear and also, it offers longer durability and stability because of its tight construction. Colour and pattern is another important factor to consider. Select your rugs which match your patio designs, for example, if your patio furniture is made of wood, pick a solid colour for your mat like red or orange which creates a welcoming contrast. Choose rugs that are easy to maintain. As your requirement is for patio pick a stain resistant mat that is easy to clean and maintain.Weather resistance, mats with gripping power are the other things to keep in mind when you buy one. Checkmate 6 ft. x 8 ft. Charcoal/Black Indoor/Outdoor Area Rug was one good product which I found in home depot. This one seems to have a good rating. As I haven’t used this myself, you can confirm it with your acquaintances or through online search.

You forgot the need to fold it up and store it when in transit. Some of us don't have a huge compartment to put it in. And when wet how much does it weigh? Tough to fold up a wet carpet and lift it into a storage area.

This is the one we use - lightweight, dries quick, folds.

Works great for us.

An alternative for a really wet and dirty mat, roll it up and tie/bungee to the top of the rear bumper, then deal with it at home. We use a woven plastic mat as well, and it cleans with a hose, and dries quickly.

We bought this one from Amazon in 2017 at the beginning of the season (it was about $15 cheaper then). We camp seasonally (live in TT all season) and it still looks like new. It cleans very easily and dries quickly.

We do put a 8x10 standard indoor/outdoor rug under the mat at the entry door to protect the mat as we have a large root by the door.

Check out pet stores, sometimes cheaper and no differences.
Read that some where, maybe here.
