Poor Water Pressure only in Kitchen

My wife is on the road using our 2014 Precept. She hooked up to water and is getting great pressure in the bathroom sink and shower but nothing in kitchen. Inspecting underneath found no leaks. The nozzle appears clear. All valve appear open around the tank and the switches are set correctly. She tried running the pump and the tank but still has same issue. I had her try to remove the water filter but for some reason she cannot seam to remove it. Any ideas on how to figure out what might be going on?

This happened to me on my last camper... try to remove the aerator on the sink and see if there is debris in it. I had stuff from my anode and construction materials plugging it up. Cleaned it out and it worked great!

You may also see if there is a kink in the line? Is hot and cold the same issue? Try to back flush with a small air pressure when you get the filter off.

Good luck.

Definitely remove the aerator, and clean it.

Is only the cold water pressure low? Is the a filter under the sink? When was the filter cartridge replaced? Or is there a filter for all the water flowing through the MH? if it is for the entire water system, then an old dirty filter would affect the water pressure throughout the coach.

As for difficulties removing the filter, usually I need a tool, I can never get enough grip on mine to do it by hand. Even min in the stick house needs a tool to remove.

Good luck,

Status - still no water.

barely getting any water in kitchen. Removed the filter outside in the tank basement area but issue still exists. Inspected the pipes and do not see any issues. Removed and cleaned aerators. Any other thoughts? I guess I will need to figure out how to follow the line and see if there is a kink ... Is it too narrow to get a fiberoptic snake down it to see if I can see a block?

Wonder if there is a piece of construction debris, at the inlet to the faucet.

Do you have access to a compressor you can adjust the pressure? If so you may want to remove the outside city water connection and filter, if you have one. Also remove the small screen at the city water entry point, remove the kitchen faucet screen/restrictor if it has one. Set the pressure to 40PSI, select cold water position on the faucet and apply some air pressure to the kitchen sink faucet. If there is something blocking it, it may release it. I would then set the faucet to Hot water and do the same.

Another test would be to put some water in the fresh water tanks and see if the pressure is different between the kitchen and bathroom. May help to isolate the blockage.

Good Luck,

Don

You may also try disconnecting the supply line and see if you have good pressure into a bucket. BIL had similar problem, ended up being in the cartridge inside the faucet. Never could disassemble it enough to clear. Replaced faucet.

I had the same issue for a few months after we purchased out camper. I eventually took to aerator off the kitchen sink and found this.

Needless to say, the pressure was perfect after that.
