International Language stations are usually free with a receiver of some sort that you program to that Sat. FTA receivers can be found fairly cheap on the web these days since most are useless now for Pay Channels on the Echostar or Nimiq Satellites. IE, unless you use IKE keys you pay for.
I think the NASA channel is free as well over one of the echostar birds.
For pointing, I use the Satellite Director App from the Google Play Store.
In your case, You would probably do better to use OTA (over the air) channels in HD.
