Question about mounting a Fan

Folks I need some advice. We bought a 2017 29RKS this spring. And in the bedroom on the left wall is place to mount a tv (their is cable and power outlet).

We want to buy a small fan that has a base that can be screwed to a wall. It appears that their is some backing behind the wall now, that is their to support a wall tv bracket. But I am not completely sure.

Before I start putting holes into it, can someone tell us that we are in correct in assuming the section of wall is made to support a bracket?

Our new fan is only about 7 lbs.

Thanks to for any help.

It is on ours. You can tell when you drive a screw into it if it will or not.

Factory will provide a wall construction 'schematic' to show you where backing is used to hold a fastener. (for the bedroom or elsewhere as needed)

Just knock on the wall with your knuckles and you can tell if there is a backing plate or solid wood behind the wall. A hollow sound = nothing solid to mount to. A solid sound = wood behind the paneling.
