Question about the weight

Does anyone have any idea of the total weight of a 1995 eagle series 8' pop- up. Even a rough estimate would be very helpfull. I dont need the tounge weight i just need to have an idea of how much the camper weighs.

Thank you

The 1995 Jayco Eagle 10 weights are: UVW 1,400lbs, GVWR 2,100lbs. I would guess that the 1995 Eagle 8 would be about 200lbs less respectively.

My 2000 J8 (8 foot) weighs approx. 1100 lbs.

Although I've never weighed it on a scale, thats what the GVW sticker said. It dosen't have any holding tanks, and we don't carry tons of gear (less it more!) Hope that helps!

Towing Question

I recently bought a new truck and it doesnt have a tow hitch but has a 2" ball on the bumper. My old truck was the same way and i had no problem towing because the ball height was the same as my pop-up but my new truck sits higher than the old truck. How would i go about lowering the tow ball on my bumper? Do they make a bolt on that lowers the ball height because i dont want to install a full tow hitch.

Thank You,

Keith

Keith,

I responded to the same post (prior bumper ball question) over in the "Towing and Tow Vehicle" section. You will most likely get more responses over there.
