Refrigerator noise

In our 2016 23 rlsw we have a Dometic fridge, in our 2011 x23b we had, I believe a Norcold fridge. The Dometic seems to have more noise than our other fridge. Has anybody experienced the same issue. How normal is this. It's difficult to describe the loudness. Not extreme just a noticeable difference. Except for the noise the Dometic seems to run ok.

I do not have that frig, but it works on the same principles as the Norcold. I have not seen any moving parts in these frigs, so I would suspect a vibration, unless your TT has a cooling fan in the ventilation access area outside.

With the unit running, I would pull off the outside cover(s) and look for a vibration, maybe the thermal couple wire is touching something, maybe another hose or wire. I would also look to see if you by chance have a cooling fan inside (near the roof), most TTs do not have a fan out of the factory.

Good luck

If the burner is making more noise you have to adjust the burner air supply. Be sure you still have a blue (with a bit yellow) flame. When they assembly at a mfg. plant they have always a approx. setting. Dealers have to test and setup (some do some don't).
