Question Repair Parts

Hello All,

I did a forum search first and did not find this but if it is a repeat I apologize. It has finally gotten warm enough and I got out today to check the new (to me) Qwest plumbing system and sanitize the water system in preparation for our first trip out beginning of next month. While filling the fresh water tank, I noted water coming out of the service tap off the tank and when I went to turn it off the valve operator crumbled in my hand, then the whole valve broke off the line. I plugged it with a both and continued on. Once the system was full I noted the water heater leaking and ended up having to remove all water heater connections and drain plug and apply Teflon tape. Noticed the seals in the plastic connections to the WH and figured I should have some of them on hand. Later I noted the grey water tank indicator wasn't working and after some time discovered it is the switch on the indicator panel wearing out, so I put a piece of paper under the button bubble and it is ok for now. I noticed the gas grill quick connection while crawling around under the trailer and am thinking about getting the grill as well.

My local hardware store had an exact replacement for the service tap nothing else. I generally like to shop online rather than run around town looking for stuff, so my question is, where is a good place to get Jayco replacement parts on line?

Thanks for the input.

I would start with Tweetys.com and see if they can get you the parts you need. They have most everything. If you cant find it - call them for help.

You can find the part if you can identify the manufacturer. Usually you can find a replacement valve better than the OE valve.

If your rig has been sitting stored it is not uncommon to find a few opportunities when getting ready for the camping season. It helps you learn what to do when you are out camping and have a problem.
