We have had it for several years. Used it once for a flat tire. They arrived within 1/2 hour of the call, changed the tire and all was good. I have no issues with them.

I have it, haven't has to use it yet. Just joined in August. I have the RV Platinum+ plan which is no longer offered and will not be available to me at renewal time. The reason I chose this plan was because of the 100 miles of being towed to the destination of your choice. This is not offered in their other plans. As much as I hate AAA I'll probably go back to them because they offer this still and I have used it.

Keep in mind that no matter who you use, wait times are not specific to the club, but the provider they are contracted with. If its a busy day for the towing company you will wait no matter which RSA service you choose.

I have GSRS and have been happy with it for the last 12+ years. I have used it a number of times to tow my personal cars, which it covers) and to change tires in areas that I did not feel safe doing it.

If you do any reading on forums about road service, all they have to offer is customer service.

The actual repairs are done mostly by the same local providers that they call. If it is a busy time or a remote location, do not expect to have someone there in a half hour.
GS has always kept me informed of my situation, called in 30 minutes to see if the service has completed the service call and followed up if they have not.

That is what I am satisfied with. I have had Allstate road service many years ago and it was the pits. I don't know if that has changed. I also have friends who have Coach-Net and AAA.

Just make sure you know what they cover so there will be no surprises. If the customer service is lacking it will be evident.
A new Jayco used to come with a year of free Coach Net but I checked into it and they wanted extra to cover my personal cars so I stayed with what I had.

Yes, the purchase of a Jayco does come with a year of Coach-Net, but it is the bottom of the line plan. It is limited to 1 tow (up to 75 miles) and 1 other event (tire assistance, battery boost, lockout, emergency fuel/fluid delivery, or winching up to $75) per year. So in other words, not much coverage. I also have the GSRS, but I have not yet had to use it.

Have GEICO coverage on both the truck and TT, both have roadside assistance as part of their respective policies. If memory serves, it was less money than any of the standalone assistance offerings. Haven't had the occasion to use it yet, but it does offer the features the standalone services do; believe there's even a modest trip interruption feature, but I'd have to review the coverage to confirm that.

Buying GSRS is like buying insurance, you are betting you will need it.

My last name is Murphy and one of my ancestors has a law named after him.

Yes, I pay for the GSRS and have not used it. The day I let it lapse...

...well, you know!

Where did you find one call a year? I believe the tow is to the nearest repair facility just like my Sate Farm auto insurance. I have coach net, used once with no issues. My thought is if you have more than one issue a year you have a problem JMO.

I copied and pasted right from the fine print on their website for the basic service.

I checked their web site because I have coach net. They have three levels Limited, Basic, Premier, and limited is the only one with restrictions. I would hope a new coach wouldn't need any service but we all know Murphy and his laws.
The old adage you get what you pay for comes to mind.

I'm thinking of getting GS roadside assistence too.....I see that the Platinum isn't covered for MD> but AAA is SO expensive.....I have them and am thinking of dropping them for GS.

X2 for Geico. They are good and one of the lesser expensive plans but I believe you must have your vehicle insured w/them.

The Good Sam call center is GREAT... the various providers they use across the country .. well that is a different story.. BUT.. anytime you get questionable service make sure to call back or email GS and tell them.. it is the only way they will ever know the service provider is sub-standard.

Two weeks ago we were on a trip from Michigan to Branson Mo then on to Quartzite AZ. When we were getting into Oklahoma City we blew a tire on the trailer one of the famous "blowmax" tires . Pulled over and called Good Sam. The girl on the phone was very helpful and told us someone would be their in thirty minutes . I hung up and told the wife what she said then got out to look at the disaster, the guys were already their ready to change the tire. Fifteen min later we were on the road . Just signed the invoice no money out of my pocket. Right now I am very happy with Goodsam roadside service.
